1. Argumentative Paragraph فقرة حجاجية
Sample – Should students use mobile phones at school?
Many people believe that students should not use mobile phones at school because they distract them from learning. First, some students spend a lot of time on social media instead of following the lesson. Second, mobile phones make cheating easier during tests and exams. However, mobile phones can also be useful for learning when teachers use them for research or online dictionaries. In my opinion, students should only use phones in special activities under the teacher’s control.

In my free time, I usually play football with my friends in the neighbourhood. Sometimes we go to a local club to train and participate in small competitions. At the weekend, I like watching movies and listening to English songs to improve my language. During school holidays, my family and I travel to the countryside or the beach to relax.

That’s all for now. Write back soon and tell me about your free time.

Dear Lisa,

How are you? I hope you and your family are doing well. I am writing this letter to tell you a little about Moroccan culture.

First, concerning eating habits, Moroccans usually share food from one big plate and eat with the right hand. Our traditional dishes include couscous and tajine, and we often drink mint tea when we have guests. As for greetings, people say “Salam Alaikum”, shake hands and sometimes hug close friends and relatives. Many young people kiss their parents’ hands or heads to show respect. Regarding clothes, people wear modern clothes every day, but they still wear jellaba and caftan on special occasions.

I hope this gives you a simple idea about my culture. I’m looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Best wishes,

First, club members gave a presentation about the importance of recycling and its benefits for the environment. Then, students worked in groups to clean the schoolyard and separate plastic, paper and metal. There was also a poster competition to raise awareness about recycling.

6. Article مقال (Article)

Topic: The importance of reading

Reading books plays a very important role in students’ lives today. In this article, I will explain why reading is so important for young people.

To begin with, reading helps students improve their vocabulary and grammar. When they read stories, novels or articles, they discover new words and expressions in context. In addition, reading develops critical thinking because it makes students analyse characters, ideas and problems. It also helps them escape stress and relax after a long school day. Finally, reading is a cheap and enjoyable way to learn about different cultures and countries.

In conclusion, all students should make reading a daily habit because it is useful, enjoyable and necessary for success at school and in life.

7. Argumentative Essay موضوع إنشائي حجاجي (Essay)

Topic: “Social media does more harm than good.” Do you agree?

Nowadays, social media has become an essential part of young people’s lives. Some people think it does more harm than good, while others believe it is very useful.

On the one hand, social media has many advantages. It allows students to communicate easily with friends and family, even if they live in other cities or countries. It can also be used for learning, because there are many educational pages, videos and online courses.

On the other hand, social media can have negative effects. Many students become addicted to it and waste a lot of time on useless content. This addiction can cause low marks at school and health problems such as eye strain and lack of sleep. In addition, some people use social media to spread fake news, cyberbullying and hate speech.

In my opinion, social media can be both good and bad. It depends on how we use it. Students should use it responsibly, for communication and learning, and avoid spending too much time online.

Inside, the living room is warm and comfortable, with colourful carpets on the floor and traditional cushions against the walls. The smell of fresh bread and mint tea fills the air every morning. Samir is extremely good at drawing; he can create beautiful portraits and landscapes in a very short time. During breaks at school, he often sits in the yard and sketches his classmates or the school building in his notebook. In addition to his artistic talent, he is also very kind and helpful.
